Rockford has undertaken an extensive array of projects at a client's North American Headquarters in Holland, Michigan, reflecting our capacity to handle large-scale and complex construction efforts. These projects include the Pack Plant Expansion, adding 107,450 sq. ft. for battery pack assembly and warehousing, and the Cell 5 Expansion, which increased Dry Room manufacturing and battery cell aging space by 44,299 sq. ft. Additionally, Rockford completed the renovation of the 2,900 sq. ft. Electrode Premix area, and an overhaul of a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse for the Electrode Coater, both enhancing battery manufacturing capabilities.
Smaller projects like the IQC #3 modification and the Safety Building Disassembly Room modification further demonstrate Rockford’s versatility. Major undertakings such as the 600,000 sq. ft. renovation and expansion of clean room space at ESMI1, and the construction of the 330,000 sq. ft. ESMI5 facility, which included advanced structural and fireproofing solutions, underscore Rockford’s commitment to supporting the client’s growth and production efficiency despite supply chain challenges and complex site conditions.
