Named after lead donors Greg (’71) and Sally Alksnis, the Alksnis Athletics and Recreation Building completes the College’s athletic complex. The 70,000 sq. ft. building offers a great venue for students to play, practice and compete, with a 200-meter NCAA-certified track; a turf infield with portable courts for multiple uses; additional wooden floor courts for basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and dance; practice areas for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, golf and intramurals; and an extensive curtaining system to allow for concurrent indoor practices and track events.
