The Clare-Gladwin Regional Education Service (CGRESD) District offers a variety of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, including manufacturing, agricultural science, construction trades, culinary arts and more to high school upperclassmen. Roughly 350 CGRESD students elect a CTE program each year, exploring a diverse range of career fields. Successful completion of these programs includes state or national certifications as well as articulated college credit, giving students a head start on life following high school. CGRESD was awarded a one-time grant for the construction of a new facility to house additional CTE programs at the John C. Magnus Center. The space features a 6,500 sq. ft. conference center, administrative offices and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen that is utilized by the culinary arts program.
