Rockford coordinated with Meijer to develop two Meijer Grocery locations — the first of their kind. Smaller than the larger retail/merchandise supercenters, these locations are grocery-forward and offer fresh produce, fresh meat, dry grocery and a bakery in a condensed “quick to navigate” layout. The grocery format also features departments such as baby, health and beauty, pharmacy, pets and cards/floral. To date, Rockford has completed more than 450 projects for this retailer since our relationship began in 1992. This includes more than 123 existing store remodels, 120 new superstores, 36 distribution centers, 142 C-stop gas stations, three market format stores, and more than 30 curbsides, office renovations and data centers throughout Michigan and the Midwest.
